Pastor’s Corner – March 2025

I am currently listening to the song “Sweet Land of Rest”. It says there’s a land where joy is waiting, far beyond all space and time. It continues “there will be no separation; no more pain; no sad good-byes. One day all is matchless beauty will unfold before my eyes. The chorus includes “Land of Promise” and “I long to see you when this world ends, I’ll step inside.”

It goes on “Jesus said He would prepare it by His perfect Master plan. And ‘He’ll return, we have His promise. He will take us there one day. Nevermore to leave His presence.”

I don’t know about you, but I don’t think it gets any better than that! Some of us are closer to that time than others, but then again, only God knows when its our time to “fly away” to Heaven.

This world is a mess-and getting messier. satan only as much power as God allows him to have-and only for a short time. But its obvious going to get much worse before it gets better.

But Christian-keep your chin up! Keep your eyes on the prize! And run the race of faith with all you have! We have believed in Jesus ever since we became a Christian-and we have His promise that one day, we will be with Him at the rapture and evermore! A true day of rest! Joy!

Pastor’s Corner – February 2025

Pastor’s Corner - February 2025 There was a song in the 70s I think, called “What the World Needs Now is Love, Sweet Love”. It was during the tumultuous times of the 60s and 70s: Vietnam; Civil Rights Movement; Watergate. But it could be argued that we need love even...

Pastor’s Corner – January 2025

Pastor’s Corner - January 2025 When I was in school, I always liked the first day. Not to meet new teachers, or have to learn after a summer of baseball and friends. No, it was the day when you gathered all your new school supplies and headed to school. And in my...
