Love Never Fails
Love is patient. Love is kind, through Jesus Christ, love you will find.
Love does not envy; It is not puffed up. Seek Him with your heart, He will fill your cup.
Love does not behave rudely, does not seek its own. Be kind to others, for this God has shown.
Love bears, believes, hopes and endures all things, give love to all and blessings God brings.

Advice on Love
“Spend your time on those you love unconditionally. Don’t waste it on those that only love you when conditions are right for them.
“The bravest love is wildly faithful and it falls hard again every morning. It knows what we seek may be found in what we already have…its grace and fresh gratitude that can make us strong enough to marvel in the seeming monotony of anything. And the happily married have eyes that look long enough to make the familiar new.-Ann Voscamp

True Love
Love can always conquer whatever discord brings; and love can also cover a multitude of things.
Don’t you underestimate what love can ever do; for love is God eternal, and His love can renew.
What is cold and lifeless, now lost all hope and died, for love can breathe new meaning, and give it back new life.
Please don’t give up on love, when it seems all is lost,
For there is always hope if we’re prepared to pay the cost.
For love is always worth it no matter how much the price,
For love will be much stronger when we trust in Jesus Christ.
So let God have full reign, let Him live within your heart
Then you will know true love, for this He will impart.

What NOT to give her for Valentine’s Day
A box of chocolates, clumsily rearranged in an attempt to hide the fact you ate all the caramel ones.
Any food item with the words “diet”, “light”, or “high fiber” on them.
Flowers from a hospital gift shop-or worse, a mortuary.
Any household appliance, power tool or other item from the hardware store.
A gift certificate.
Cash.
Anything you could have bought at the gas station mini-mart on the way over, even if you didn’t.
An apologetic look and the words “was that today?”

CHUCKLES
Sunday School
As he returned home from school one day, my seven year old son announced “I want to go to Sunday School.”
Pleased, I told him I’d find one for him.
Later he said “Oh boy, I can’t wait to go to Sunday School! One day of school sounds so much better than five!”

Wedded Bliss
A married couple was celebrating 60 years of marriage, and was asked what the secret of being married so long was. The husband said “When we were first married, we had an agreement. I would make all the major decisions, and she would make all the minor decisions. In 60 years of marriage, we have never had to make a major decision!”

It’s a Puzzle!
One day an elderly neighbor called and asked a friend if she could come over and help. “Why do you need help?” she said. “I am working on a puzzle and I can’t figure out how to get started.” “What will the picture be when it is done?” the friend asked. “Well, as far as I can tell, it will be a rooster.” When the friend came over, she said two things. “Well, no matter what, we will not get a picture of a rooster. And two, lets sit down, relax and have a cup of coffee. Then we can put the corn flakes back into the box. The New Addition
My wife and I were celebrating the birth of our first child, but finances were tight after paying our medical bills. Our son needed a diaper change, and I heard my wife say “The only thing that is paid for, and it leaks!”

Pastor’s Corner – February 2026

Pastor’s Corner - February 2026 We all want to be loved. We are loved by our parents and grandparents. And even though there may be some doubt at times, by our siblings. We are glad they care about us and want to do all they can to help us. In return, we love them as...

Pastor’s Corner – March 2025

Pastor’s Corner - March 2025 I am currently listening to the song “Sweet Land of Rest”. It says there’s a land where joy is waiting, far beyond all space and time. It continues “there will be no separation; no more pain; no sad good-byes. One day all is matchless...

Pastor’s Corner – February 2025

Pastor’s Corner - February 2025 There was a song in the 70s I think, called “What the World Needs Now is Love, Sweet Love”. It was during the tumultuous times of the 60s and 70s: Vietnam; Civil Rights Movement; Watergate. But it could be argued that we need love even...
